Lauren began her education by taking a couple of elective classes at Manchester Community College. Her love of clay had not yet been discovered, but her creative passion was finally utilized. After being coerced by a fellow artist who saw her potential, she took a couple more classes. She then transferred to Central Connecticut State University to pursue her degree in Liberal Arts & Sciences, and it was there she decided to major in Ceramics. Following her education, she found a studio space in Bristol CT where she began to both practice production pottery while still hand building and working to refine technique and remain fluid in the artistry. She continues to work independently throwing for local restaurants, special orders, and for the pure joy of creativity.
